Yes. Our classes and workshops have limited spaces to keep groups small, so we recommend booking in advance.
We offer sessions for ages 3–16, with different groups tailored to children’s stages of development:
Little Sprouts (toddlers): ages 3–4
Art Club 1: ages 5–12
Art Club 2: ages 10–16
Art Movement: ages 5–12
Art Focus: ages 5–16
Holiday workshops: ages 5–16
Age bands will be clearly listed when booking.
Yes — all materials are included, from clay and mixed media to paints, tools and sketchbooks. There’s nothing extra you need to bring.
You’re welcome to help your child settle in. After that, we encourage independence and kindly ask parents to leave the studio, except during our dedicated parent–toddler sessions.
For term-time classes, we may offer fresh fruit as a light, healthy snack (always nut-free).
For holiday workshops, children may bring a nut-free packed lunch, or you can opt in for lunch prepared by us.
Our sessions are led by experienced art educators and practising artists. All teachers working with children are DBS-checked, and committed to nurturing every child’s creativity and confidence.

Yes — trial sessions can be booked through our website or in person at the studio, subject to availability.
Each child receives a one-time 15% discount when booking their trial session.
No — our classes are kept intentionally small and priced per individual place, so we do not offer sibling discounts at this time.
We offer one make-up session per term if your child needs to miss a class. Please contact us in advance so we can arrange an alternative date.
Children are welcome to share what they’ve been working on, but all sessions follow that day’s planned curriculum.
Yes! We host personalised art parties in our studio, with creative themes and optional catering. To check availability, email contact@theartloft.uk.
