Weekly Art Classes
Our weekly programme offers creative art classes for children and young people from ages 3 through to teens, with sessions designed to grow alongside their skills and interests.
From first creative experiences in Little Sprouts to drawing, painting, mixed media, Anime & Manga Drawing and GCSE, A-Level & Portfolio Support, our classes combine thoughtful guidance with plenty of room for individual creativity.
Classes are taught in small groups by experienced art educators in our bright Putney studio, with all general art materials included.

Our weekly programme runs throughout the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms, with regular classes for children, young people and adults.
Most class times remain consistent throughout the term, while selected workshops and events — including Sip & Paint and Sip & Cake — run on specific dates.

What to Expect in Our Weekly Classes
Our weekly classes are designed to support students at every stage of their creative journey — from first explorations to more focused skill development.
Sessions combine thoughtful guidance, technique and material demonstrations, and time for individual exploration. Depending on the class, students may work on drawing, painting, mixed media, illustration, specialist techniques or longer-term projects.
Over the term, they build confidence, strengthen their creative skills and develop a more individual approach to their work.

Little Sprouts - Toddler Sessions (Ages 3 – 4)
A gentle first art class filled with colour, texture and creative play.

Children explore materials, build confidence and develop early fine motor skills in a calm, welcoming studio environment.

Art 1 -
Young Creators
(Ages 5 – 12)
Our signature after-school and weekend art class designed to spark creativity and build strong artistic foundations.
Through drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, clay and mixed media, children grow in confidence while developing their own ideas and creative voice.
Art 2 -
Teen Studio
(Ages 9 – 16)
A more advanced art class for older children ready to develop stronger skills, deeper ideas and greater creative independence.
Through drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, printmaking and 3D making, students build confidence, technique and their own artistic voice.
Art Focus -
Themed Sessions
(Ages 5 – 16)
Each term brings a fresh creative theme, from famous artists and illustration to pattern, design and storytelling.
These focused classes invite children to explore ideas more deeply, experiment with materials and develop their own visual language.
Anime & Manga Drawing
(Ages 8+)
A specialist full-term course for young artists who love anime, manga and illustration.
Students explore character design, facial expressions, poses, movement, clothing, backgrounds, perspective and composition while developing strong drawing foundations and their own creative style.
GCSE, A-Level & Portfolio Support
(Ages 12+)
A focused studio programme for students preparing for GCSE or A-Level Art, developing school coursework, or beginning to build a portfolio for future study in art and design.
Students receive individual guidance with sketchbook development, technical skills, idea generation, experimentation, refining projects and presenting a strong, personal body of work.
Sugarcraft & Icing
(Ages 5+)
A fun, hands-on weekly class where children learn to shape, model and decorate using icing and simple sugarcraft techniques.
Each session features a different themed project — from unicorns and rainbows to animals, flowers and seasonal creations — giving children the chance to make something imaginative and take it home at the end of the class.
Adult Art Classes
(Ages 16+)
Relaxed, guided art sessions for adults of all levels — from complete beginners to those looking to develop their skills and enjoy regular creative time.
Classes explore drawing, painting, colour, composition and a range of materials and techniques, with individual guidance throughout. The focus is on building confidence, experimenting creatively and enjoying the process in a welcoming studio environment.
