Little Sprouts is a joyful, hands-on art session designed especially for toddlers aged 3–4. These weekly classes invite little ones to explore colour, texture and materials in a calm, welcoming environment — building confidence, imagination and early fine motor skills through gentle creative play. With thoughtfully guided activities and plenty of room for discovery, toddlers learn to enjoy art as a process rather than a finished result. What toddlers explore Each session introduces simple, engaging activities using safe, age-appropriate materials such as: • finger painting & colour mixing • sponge, roller and brush exploration • nature-inspired textures • clay or soft modelling materials • collage & paper play • simple mark-making and line discovery • sensory trays with themed objects These open-ended tasks support early coordination, sensory awareness and joyful experimentation. A warm, calm, structured format Little Sprouts follows a gentle rhythm that helps toddlers feel settled and secure: 1. Welcome & settling-in time 2. Short guided activity to introduce materials or a theme 3. Free exploration with support from our educators 4. Mini project children can finish and take home 5. Calm-down moment to close the session The structure is flexible so that each child can explore in a way that suits their mood and developmental stage. Our teaching approach Our educators support toddlers with warmth, patience and encouragement — modelling gentle techniques, suggesting playful prompts and helping young artists engage at their own pace. The focus is on discovery, enjoyment and early skill-building, not perfect outcomes. Materials & outcomes All materials are provided, safe and toddler-friendly. Children take home small creations that reflect their explorations — from colourful prints to simple collages or textured marks.
