Little Sprouts, Toddler Sensory Sessions

Service Description

Little Sprouts is a joyful weekly toddler art and sensory class designed especially for children aged 3–4. In a calm, welcoming studio environment, little ones explore colour, texture, shape and materials through hands-on creative play. Each session supports confidence, imagination and early fine motor development while introducing children to art in a playful, age-appropriate way. Through painting, collage, stamping, clay, mark-making and sensory exploration, children begin to enjoy art as something expressive, tactile and fun. WHAT CHILDREN EXPLORE Across the term, children enjoy simple, engaging projects inspired by nature, animals, weather, celebrations and the seasons. Sessions may include painting, collage, stamping, clay, mark-making, masks, name frames and playful summer-themed artwork. WHAT CHILDREN LEARN Each session helps children build confidence, imagination and early fine motor skills while introducing them to art in a playful, age-appropriate way. Activities support sensory development, coordination and creative confidence. A WARM, CALM FORMAT Each class follows a gentle rhythm with a welcome, a short introduction to the day’s theme or materials, supported creative exploration, a simple making activity, and a calm ending to close the session. A SUPPORTIVE SPACE Little Sprouts is designed to be warm, nurturing, sensory-friendly and curiosity-led. It gives children a positive first experience of art, with plenty of encouragement from our educators and space to explore independently. DROP-OFF INFORMATION Little Sprouts is a drop-off class, designed to help little ones grow in confidence and enjoy their own creative experience. If needed, parents or carers are welcome to stay briefly at the start to help their child settle in. MATERIALS & OUTCOMES All materials are provided and chosen to be suitable for younger children. Each week, children create simple pieces inspired by their own ideas and explorations.
